Jephson Gardens is a pretty awesome wedding venue so when Tori & Darcy told me they were getting married there I was really excited. I first met this lovely pair at their good friends’ wedding back in 2014, when Tori was a bridesmaid and it was amazing to get to know them better in the run up to their beautiful wedding in April this year…

…Tori is a girl after my own heart – a lot of thought (and elbow grease on Jon’s part!) went into getting the room at the botanical gardens looking fabulous and they were keen to bring the stunning backdrop of Jephson Gardens and the lake to the fore through their photographs and use of the venue.

But my favourite thing about this pair was their sense of fun, we re-enacted a couple of “Moseley Shoals” photos with their mates in the park (90s indie music fans this one’s for you!) and Tori was more than happy to climb up onto a bronze elephant for some fab sunset photos with her girls. And don’t even get me started on the dancing. Tori and her dad are all set for Strictly but Jon was ripping up that dance floor like it was 1999. I love it when the dance floor is buzzing and my favourite local band, the  Wedding Crashers made sure of that!

So guys, I had a total ball shooting your wedding and getting to know you along the way. I’m just sad it’s all over but yay, Tori’s sister has booked me for her wedding next year so I’ll get anther chance to capture these two throwing a shape or two 🙂
